I've only made
two short trips to Malaysia. In both instances the excuse was to
get away from the silly Songkran holiday that makes such a mess
of Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, and southern Yunnan, China.
However, this revelation certainly shouldn't be taken as a slight
against Malaysia but rather as an advance disclaimer that I really
haven't seen a whole lot of this country to make any attempt to
that appears are short reviews of the four places that I have visited.
In 2003 it was Kuala Lumpur and the Perhentian Islands and in 2004
it was Penang and Langkawi.
In the future
I will try to do better as there is a lot more I'd like to see of
Malaysia, especially over in Sarawak and Sabah in Malaysian Borneo.
HEY YOU! Why just read? Talk, too. Head over to the talesofasia Discussion Forum and toss in your two ringgits worth.
